My name is Karen Lisa and I'm a multi-instrumental soundscape artist who specializes in the sacred majesty of the gong. I am drawn to deep tones infused with layers and harmonies of singing bowls, drums, native flute, chimes and other sound healing instruments. I absolutely, totally and completely love creating immersive soundscapes that invoke a sense of mystery and magic while inviting the listener towards a profound stillness within.
I trained as a meditation and yoga nidra teacher in Nasik, India in 2003 and I've been leading sound-based meditation sessions ever since. I've travelled to more than 48 countries and have had the privilege and joy of being welcomed in to immerse myself in a myriad of different cultures and contexts. These experiences all contribute to my offerings as a sound journey artist.
I've also trained in gong with the masters, Mike Tamburo, Bear and Shion of B. Love, Ken Little and Denise Blaney.

Located in the Upper Beaches area of Toronto at 1234 Kingston Road (and Fallingbrook), in our cozy, candlelit studio in the Upper Beaches, you enter a welcoming space where we offer both private and small group sound bathing sessions, featuring sound bowls, gong, native flute, drum, crystal harp, chimes, tuning forks and singing bowls.
During your sound journey, you are lying down on a super, duper soft mattress, covered in a cozy warm blanket and supported by bolsters and pillows. All you need to do is allow.
I also offer performances off-site, anywhere in the world! Love to collaborate. Happy to discuss more! Contact me below for more information.
